From DC to London

Ramblings of the trials and tribulations of my life in London as an American ex-pat :)

Please standby, we've trekked to the 20th century...

I'm moved in! :D The Suitcases are unpacked, I get to sleep in my sheets tonight, take a shower with my towels in the morning...life is good!

I type to you from a kebab place next door to my flat (yes Linda, I know you're proud) because they have free wifi! also, really good food...I'm not freaked out to eat alone because I'm typing away. So, this brings us to our 20th century bit...until I figure out the way-too-many choices for a net connection, tv, etc, I have nothing!

I have no TV, I have no net connection at home, it's very weird. But there's free wifi everywhere (I can see my flat from here), so hopefully I won't go too stir crazy.

Anywho, I'll give the latest in my saga tomorrow, I'm using tonight to research the aforementioned way-too-many choices.

So happy that you have a kebab place nearby...have to make sure you have all the necessities. :-)
